Spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a private balcony overlooking the stunning garden and countryside. I felt like a character from a French romance novel, admiring the picturesque views while sipping my morning coffee on the balcony.
Steep hill for those with difficulty walking.

The breakfast at this hotel was a delightful surprise. Imagine waking up to the heavenly aroma of freshly baked croissants and homemade baguettes, accompanied by a selection of mouthwatering ham and cheese. And to top it off, an array of beautifully ripe fruit, refreshing fruit juice, and creamy yogurt. It was like having a picnic in a 5-star restaurant!
Limited parking space.

As vegetarians, we appreciated the availability of fresh fruit and the variety of choices for breakfast at this charming B&B. The tea tray upon arrival and the coffee machines throughout the property were a nice touch.
Felt good, nothing too much trouble.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming B&B in a beautiful rural area. Located next to a picturesque lake and just a short walk from the village center, the location was perfect for my peaceful getaway. the room was spacious, clean, and filled with lovely antiques. the bathroom, although not ensuite, was solely for my use and was clean and well-maintained. the friendly owners provided a warm welcome and the breakfast each morning was delicious, with a variety of options including fresh fruit. I also enjoyed relaxing in the garden and taking in the stunning views.
The lack of a TV in the room, which would have been useful during the quiet evenings in the village.

Great value for money, spacious and nicely decorated rooms with interesting antiques. Friendly British owners who treated us to a warm welcome and even offered us a beer. Beautiful location with stunning views, and convenient to have supplies, money, and restaurants within walking distance in the village. Ideal for exploring the surrounding National Parks.
The breakfast menu could have had a wider variety of options.

As we were just passing through visiting properties in the area, we only had a night at La Maison Du Marchand. However, top marks for the location, excellent breakfast, and all the helpful tips and advice from Laura and Paul. We were also impressed by the beautiful restoration of this 100-year-old house. It was a true find and we would definitely stay again if the chance arises.
Totally recommend this hotel!

One disappointment was the lack of evening meals available, but luckily there was a local italian restaurant nearby.

The hospitality of the hosts was great, they greeted us with drinks upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. The room had a lovely view and was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, which is always a plus. Additionally, the breakfast provided was perfect with a wide variety of options to choose from.
The lack of evening meals at the hotel was a letdown. We had to rely on local restaurants, but the Italian restaurant nearby provided one of the worst meals we have had in years.
